Joan + Kevin: Sneak Peek

A couple of weeks ago we had a wonderful time capturing Joan and Kevin's wedding day. It was a day filled with travel and fun as we started at the Georgian Terrace, then went to the church and finally on to Fort McPherson. The weather was beautiful although a tiny bit hot. Joan and Kevin took the whole day in stride and it was a great success! Joan looked so beautiful and Kevin was looking sharp in his white tux. Their children, family and friends were so much fun to be around and made the day even more special for them. Check out a few of my favorites from the day... I may have went a tiny overboard again with the number in the sneak peek (=

-M

Joan and Kevin- We love working with you both and hope we can continue doing so in the future. You two share a wonderful bond and we wish you so much happiness in your married life together!

Beautiful!

This was Joan's reaction when her coordinator brought in her beautiful flowers. She burst into tears of absolute happiness! They were so fabulous. (=

Some touch-ups before the ceremony...

Finally Mr. and Mrs!

The venue was SO amazing! Lots of great details.

The newlyweds sharing a sweet moment alone.

Joan surprised Kevin with a second gorgeous dress!

The story of the garter... well as you can see this nice young man caught it. No more than 2 seconds later, his mother came marching over hollering "Oh no!, Oh no!" motioning for someone else to take it. It was a riot!

The bouquet was just as funny (= Joan counted to three and instead of tossing it backwards to the group of bouquet hungry ladies, she tossed it to her another bridesmaid standing in front of her. As you can she the ladies waiting in the back weren't to thrilled so she threw it again. It was so funny!

Kade: 1 Year

A couple of weeks ago we got to meet this little nugget of joy and his family for his 1 year session. Since he wasn't a member of our Little Wonders program this was our first time together. That didn't matter to him though! The minute he was in front of the camera he was all smiles. We also had a ton of help from mom, dad, siblings and 2 grandmas! We love when clients bring in some help. It makes it super easy to get the little one to smile. (= I can't wait to see more of this cutie and his family. Enjoy the sneak peek!

-M

This was a rare "serious" moment during the session.

HAHAHA I love this face!

So CUTE!

Senior 2010: Sarah

Yesterday we had the pleasure of working with Sarah at Marietta Square. She will be graduating next year and got an early jump on her portraits. We love that because she is receiving 50% OFF her session!

She is funny, quirky and has beautiful piercing blue eyes. It was great working with her because she was willing to do just about anything from laying in the road to climbing a wall! Her mom and best friend joined us and were so helpful with carrying Sarahs outfit changes and being there to support her. We had a great time even though the weather was a little on the "scorching hot" side.

Enjoy the sneak peek and the short video!

See? Spiderwoman.

Smokin' hot and fabulous!

Love this one... it's so sweet and simple.

Jennifer + Lucas: Sneak Peek

Jen has one of the best smiles I have ever seen and Lucas knows exactly how to make that amazing smile happen. The entire day of their wedding, Jen had an ear to ear grin every time she stole a glance at her man. They are just too cute of a couple and you can tell that they have a blast when they are spending time together.

We started the day at La Quinta in Douglasville where I got some getting ready shots of the bride. The guys were all over at the Douglasville Conference Center getting some really cool formal portraits. It is such a great place for wedding pictures even though the sun was beating down so harshly. The ceremony went off without a hitch (other than the sun) and then it was onto the reception after a few more family and bridal party pictures. The reception venue was decked out and looked amazing. The food was great and the DJ kept the party going strong. We had a great time!

Jen and Lucas - You guys were so much fun to spend the day with! You made us feel like part of the family and we could not be happier to know the both of you and your little one Ashlynne. Thank you again!

Stunning!

Jennifer had a friendly little bug fly into her dress... the following was hilarious!

Jennifer and Lucas wanted a shot of the two of them before the ceremony without seeing each other... so we found this corner.

Is it getting hot in here or what?!?!

During a little slideshow everybody got a little emotional (=

How cute is this?!

The following image about sums up the day!

Jessie + Stephen: Sneak Peek

Jessie and Stephen are two of the nicest people you could ever meet. We first met them at Jose and Leslyn's wedding last year and immediately struck up a relationship. Shortly after that wedding, they contacted us to work with them on their wedding day. The venue was the Ravinia Club in Atlanta and it was PERFECT. The weather was looking a bit gloomy and they had planned for an outdoor ceremony. However, the venue had an amazing plan B. Their conservatory is totally enclosed with glass. There was as stream, waterfall and so many plants. All the images below of the ceremony and the formals are indoors as it was pouring outside. Awesomeness. Here are a few of my faves from the day... I went a little overboard (=

Jessie & Stephen- Thank you again. We had a blast and hope your day was everything you hoped for. You guys are made for each other!

-M

They opted to see each other before the ceremony which made the rest of the day go by like a dream. All formals are done so the party can get started!

Awesome that this is inside right!?

Stunningly gorgeous Jessie.

The flower girl cracked me up. Flowers ABOVE the head haha!

I LOVE this one with Stephen to the far left. The way he is looking at her melts my heart.

Yummy!

Off to the reception. Hope you guys had a great one!

Little Wonder: Aiden - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

I can't believe it. Aiden is already 1 year old. It seems like just the other day his mommy brought him in for the first time when he was only 3 months! For this session we started in the studio for a few family shots (including the puppy!) and then had some one on one time with Mr. Aiden. As usual, he was adorable. He just can't help it. We then went down to the park for a few minutes and got some really great ones of him and the whole gang again. Even though he wasn't very smiley, I think we definitely have some winners!

-M

Look at those baby blues!

His expression in this one is priceless! "Look lady... quit following me around with the camera already."

How did you hear about us?
